Terms and Conditions 

PERETZ ACADEMY TERMS AND CONDITIONS

1. Introduction

Welcome to Peretz Academy (“Academy,” “we,” “our,” or “us”). These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern all enrollments, training programs, workshops, mentorships, online classes, private lessons, masterclasses, and services provided by Peretz Academy.

By enrolling in any course, workshop, or program offered by Peretz Academy, students (“Student,” “you,” or “your”) acknowledge that they have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms and Conditions.

These Terms are legally binding and apply to all students, attendees, models, assistants, collaborators, and participants associated with the Academy.

2. Enrollment Policy

2.1 Eligibility

Students must:

  • Be at least 18 years old, or

  • Have written parental or guardian consent if under 18.

Peretz Academy reserves the right to refuse enrollment at its discretion.

2.2 Registration

Enrollment is only confirmed when:

  • Registration forms are completed,

  • The required deposit or payment has been received, and

  • Written confirmation has been issued by the Academy.

Spaces are limited and are allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.

2.3 Accuracy of Information

Students are responsible for ensuring all submitted information is accurate and up to date, including:

  • Full legal name,

  • Contact information,

  • Emergency contact information,

  • Payment details,

  • Any relevant medical or allergy information.

3. Tuition, Fees, and Payments

3.1 Course Fees

All tuition fees, deposits, installment plans, and additional charges will be communicated prior to enrollment.

Fees may include:

  • Tuition,

  • Starter kits,

  • Materials,

  • Certification fees,

  • Digital resources,

  • Mentorship access,

  • Studio usage.

3.2 Deposits

Deposits are:

  • Mandatory to secure placement,

  • Non-refundable,

  • Non-transferable unless approved in writing by the Academy.

3.3 Payment Plans

Where payment plans are offered:

  • Students must adhere to agreed payment dates,

  • Missed payments may result in suspension from classes,

  • Certificates may be withheld until balances are paid in full.

Failure to complete payment obligations may result in cancellation of enrollment.

3.4 Late Payments

Late payments may incur:

  • Administrative fees,

  • Temporary suspension,

  • Denial of class access,

  • Loss of certification eligibility.

3.5 Refund Policy

Unless otherwise stated in writing:

  • Tuition fees are non-refundable,

  • Deposits are non-refundable,

  • Missed classes are non-refundable,

  • Dissatisfaction with personal results does not qualify for refunds.

Refunds may only be considered under exceptional circumstances at the sole discretion of Peretz Academy.

4. Cancellation & Rescheduling Policy

4.1 Student Cancellations

If a student cancels:

  • More than 14 days before the course start date, tuition may be transferred once to a future class,

  • Less than 14 days before the course start date, payments may be forfeited.

Transfers are not guaranteed and are subject to availability.

4.2 Academy Cancellations

Peretz Academy reserves the right to:

  • Reschedule courses,

  • Change instructors,

  • Modify schedules,

  • Cancel classes due to emergencies, low enrollment, illness, or unforeseen circumstances.

In such cases, students may receive:

  • A replacement date,

  • Course credit,

  • Or partial/full refund at the Academy’s discretion.

4.3 No-Shows

Students who fail to attend without prior notice may forfeit:

  • Tuition,

  • Deposits,

  • Access to future sessions.

5. Attendance & Participation

5.1 Attendance Requirements

Students are expected to:

  • Attend all scheduled sessions punctually,

  • Participate professionally,

  • Complete assigned practical work.

Repeated lateness or absenteeism may impact certification eligibility.

5.2 Missed Classes

Peretz Academy is not obligated to:

  • Provide make-up classes,

  • Repeat lessons,

  • Offer refunds for missed sessions.

Where possible, additional support may be offered at extra cost.

5.3 Professional Conduct

Students must:

  • Behave respectfully,

  • Maintain professionalism,

  • Follow hygiene and sanitation standards,

  • Respect instructors, staff, and classmates.

Bullying, harassment, discrimination, disruptive behavior, or inappropriate conduct may result in immediate dismissal without refund.

6. Health & Safety

6.1 Student Responsibility

Students participate at their own risk.

Students are responsible for:

  • Using tools safely,

  • Following instructor guidance,

  • Maintaining proper hygiene,

  • Reporting allergies or sensitivities.

6.2 Allergies & Reactions

Peretz Academy is not liable for:

  • Allergic reactions,

  • Skin sensitivities,

  • Product-related irritations,

  • Injuries caused by misuse of tools or products.

Students should patch-test products where appropriate.

6.3 Studio Safety

Students must:

  • Keep workstations clean,

  • Handle sharp tools responsibly,

  • Follow sanitation protocols,

  • Dispose of waste properly.

Failure to comply with safety procedures may result in removal from class.

7. Intellectual Property

7.1 Ownership

All Academy materials remain the intellectual property of Peretz Academy, including:

  • Course manuals,

  • Demonstrations,

  • Teaching methods,

  • Videos,

  • Templates,

  • Branding,

  • Digital downloads,

  • Photography,

  • Curriculum content.

7.2 Restrictions

Students may not:

  • Reproduce Academy materials,

  • Record lessons without permission,

  • Distribute manuals or videos,

  • Teach Peretz Academy curriculum as their own,

  • Share paid content publicly or privately.

Unauthorized use may result in legal action.

7.3 Social Media & Portfolio Usage

Students may share their own work on social media provided they:

  • Credit Peretz Academy where appropriate,

  • Do not misrepresent Academy materials as their own teachings,

  • Do not distribute confidential educational content.

8. Photography, Video & Media Consent

Peretz Academy may photograph or record:

  • Classes,

  • Student work,

  • Demonstrations,

  • Events,

  • Testimonials.

By attending classes, students grant permission for their image, voice, or work to be used for:

  • Marketing,

  • Educational purposes,

  • Social media,

  • Promotional campaigns,

  • Website content.

Students who do not wish to appear in media must notify the Academy in writing before the course begins.

9. Certification

Certificates are awarded only when students:

  • Complete required training,

  • Meet competency standards,

  • Attend required sessions,

  • Pay all outstanding balances.

Peretz Academy reserves the right to withhold certification where standards are not met.

Certification does not guarantee:

  • Employment,

  • Licensing,

  • Business success,

  • Income generation.

Students are responsible for ensuring compliance with local licensing laws and regulations.

10. Student Kits & Materials

10.1 Student Responsibility

Students are responsible for:

  • Bringing required materials,

  • Maintaining tools,

  • Replacing lost or damaged items.

10.2 Kit Variations

Starter kits may vary depending on:

  • Course level,

  • Supplier availability,

  • Product updates.

The Academy reserves the right to substitute equivalent products.

11. Confidentiality

Students agree not to disclose:

  • Private Academy information,

  • Business strategies,

  • Supplier information shared confidentially,

  • Client details,

  • Internal training processes.

Confidentiality obligations continue after completion of training.

12. Liability Disclaimer

Peretz Academy is not liable for:

  • Personal injury,

  • Property damage,

  • Lost or stolen items,

  • Allergic reactions,

  • Business losses,

  • Missed income opportunities,

  • Student misuse of techniques.

Students assume full responsibility for their participation and application of skills learned.

13. Independent Business Responsibility

Students operating businesses after training are solely responsible for:

  • Insurance,

  • Licensing,

  • Taxes,

  • Health regulations,

  • Client safety,

  • Product compliance,

  • Business practices.

Peretz Academy is not responsible for students’ independent business operations.

14. Code of Ethics

Students are expected to:

  • Act ethically,

  • Maintain professionalism,

  • Respect clients,

  • Practice proper hygiene,

  • Avoid plagiarism,

  • Represent their skill level honestly.

Peretz Academy reserves the right to revoke access or certification where unethical conduct occurs.

15. Online Training Terms

For online classes:

  • Access links are for registered students only,

  • Course access may be time-limited,

  • Downloads may be restricted,

  • Recording or redistribution is prohibited.

Students are responsible for:

  • Internet access,

  • Suitable devices,

  • Software compatibility.

Peretz Academy is not responsible for technical failures outside its control.

16. Non-Compete & Non-Solicitation (Optional Clause)

Students agree not to:

  • Misrepresent themselves as official representatives of Peretz Academy,

  • Solicit Academy students during active enrollment,

  • Copy proprietary teaching systems for direct commercial competition.

This clause shall be enforced only to the extent permitted by applicable law.

17. Termination of Enrollment

Peretz Academy reserves the right to terminate enrollment without refund for:

  • Misconduct,

  • Harassment,

  • Theft,

  • Violence,

  • Breach of confidentiality,

  • Non-payment,

  • Disruptive behavior,

  • Violation of these Terms.

18. Force Majeure

Peretz Academy shall not be held responsible for delays or cancellations caused by events beyond reasonable control, including:

  • Natural disasters,

  • Illness outbreaks,

  • Government restrictions,

  • Power outages,

  • Transportation disruptions,

  • Emergencies.

19. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws applicable in the Academy’s operating jurisdiction.

Any disputes arising under these Terms shall first attempt to be resolved through good-faith negotiation.

20. Amendments

Peretz Academy reserves the right to update or modify these Terms at any time.

Updated Terms become effective immediately upon publication or distribution.

21. Acknowledgment

By enrolling in Peretz Academy, students acknowledge that they:

  • Have read and understood these Terms,

  • Agree to comply with all Academy policies,

  • Accept financial responsibility for enrolled services,

  • Understand that results vary based on practice and dedication.
