SALON CHAIR RENTAL AGREEMENT
1. Agreement Overview
This agreement is between Peretz Beauty Supplies, Salon & Academy ("Salon Owner") and Booking Stylist ("Renter"). The Renter is an independent self-employed professional, renting space within the salon.
2. Rental Basis
Rental is offered on a half-day, full-day, or weekly basis as follows:
Half-Day Rental Slots:

Morning: 9:00am – 1:30pm

Afternoon: 1:30pm – 5:30pm
Half-Day Rates:

£20 per session
Full-Day Rate:
-
£35 per day (subject to availability)
Weekly Rate:
-
£90 per week (3 days per week, ALL Fridays and Saturdays NOT inclusive)
All rental fees must be paid in advance. Bookings are only confirmed upon receipt of payment, and filling of the rental form.
Half-day renters must vacate the salon promptly at the end of their allocated session unless they have booked consecutive sessions.
No work may be carried out without full payment.
3. Self-Employment Status

The Renter is not an employee of the Salon Owner

The Renter is fully responsible for their own tax, National Insurance, and insurance

The Salon Owner holds no liability for the Renter’s business, earnings, or clients
4. Working Hours
-
Access is limited to agreed salon hours paid for.

No access is permitted outside these hours.
5. Clients & Income
-
The Renter retains 100% of earnings from their own clients
-
The Renter is fully responsible for managing their own bookings and payments unless otherwise agreed

The Salon Owner may provide optional booking support at their discretion
6. Use of Space
-
The Renter is assigned a chair/workstation only
-
Shared areas must be kept clean, tidy, and professional at all times
-
Equipment must be used responsibly and respectfully
7. Use of Time & Salon Premises
-
The Renter is entitled to use the salon space only during their paid rental period
-
The Renter is expected to organise their bookings efficiently within their rental time and may schedule as many clients as they wish within that period
-
If the Renter has completed all client appointments and has no further bookings for that day, they are expected to tidy and clean their workstation and vacate the salon in a timely and professional manner

The salon operates as a busy shared working environment. Renters must be mindful of space, other stylists, and salon clients at all times
-
The Renter must not remain on the premises after their paid session without paying, and active business purpose and must not interfere with salon operations or other clients

The Salon Owner reserves the right to require a Renter to vacate the premises where their presence is not aligned with the professional operation of the salon
8. Products & Supplies (Salon Retail Policy)

The Renter may use their own professional products, provided they meet industry hygiene and safety standards
-
The Salon Owner operates an on-site retail business supplying professional hair and beauty products
-
Renters are encouraged to purchase products from the salon for convenience, consistency, and quality assurance. Trade or preferential pricing may be offered at the Salon Owner’s discretion
-
The Salon Owner may restrict the use of any product deemed unsafe, unprofessional, or inconsistent with salon standards
-
Certain services may require standardised products to ensure quality consistency, which will be available for purchase within the salon
-
Salon-owned products or tools must not be used, and if used by the Renter, it will incur additional charges
-
The Renter must not sell or promote competing retail products within the salon.

The Salon Owner may offer incentives, commissions, or discounts related to salon product usage or sales
9. Client Protection & Non-Solicitation
-
All clients introduced through the salon (including walk-ins and salon-booked clients) remain clients of the Salon Owner
-
The Renter must not directly or indirectly solicit or divert salon clients for personal business during or after the agreement

This includes:
-
Sharing personal contact details for off-salon services
-
Encouraging clients to leave the salon system
-
Offering services outside the salon to salon clients
-

All rebookings for salon-introduced clients must be made through the salon booking system unless otherwise agreed
-
This clause applies during the agreement and for 24 months after termination
-
Breach of this clause may result in immediate termination and potential legal action
10. Hygiene & Standards

The Renter must maintain high professional hygiene standards at all times
-
The Salon Owner reserves the right to intervene if standards are not met
11. Insurance
-
The Renter must hold valid public liability insurance
-
Proof must be provided before commencing work
12. Conduct
-
Professional behaviour is required at all times
-
Any disruptive, unsafe, or unprofessional conduct may result in termination
13. Payment Terms
-
All rent must be paid in advance
-
Late payment may result in loss of chair access
-
Payments are non-refundable
14. Cancellation
-
Minimum 2 days notice required for cancellation of booking
-
Failure to provide notice may result in charges
15. Termination
-
Either party may terminate with 2 days written notice
-
Immediate termination may occur in the event of breach of agreement
16. Liability
-
The Salon Owner is not responsible for loss, damage, injury, or disputes relating to the Renter’s business or clients
17. Branding, PPE & Dress Code
Salon Branding & PPE Usage
-
The Salon Owner may provide salon PPE (including gowns, capes, towels, and aprons)
-
When provided, this PPE must be used during all client services to maintain a consistent salon standard
-
All salon PPE remains the property of the Salon Owner and must be returned upon termination/leaving the salon at the end of the day.
Dress Code Requirement
All Renters must adhere to a professional dress standard while working within the salon:

Black short-sleeve T-shirt (plain)
-
Black jeans or black trousers
-
Covered Shoe
-
Clean, professional appearance at all times
Renters may wear personal accessories provided they do not interfere with professionalism, safety, or salon branding
18. Branding & Representation
-
The Renter must not present themselves as an employee of the salon
-
The Renter must not display competing salon branding within the premises without written consent.
